    Oshkosh Corporation confirms voluntary, temporary layoff for union employees due to overstaffing

    June 13, 2025 // Military vehicle manufacturer, Oshkosh Corporation, has offered temporary three-month layoffs to union members in response to overstaffing. The decision was made in the wake of a planned reduction in production of Joint Light Tactical Vehicles. The voluntary layoff program gives workers an excused, unpaid leave of absence. Benefits would continue and they would be guaranteed a return after the 30 days.
