Henry Mack III: Nominated
Henry Mack III has been nominated to serve as the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Employment and Training. He has experience in workforce development, having served as Chancellor for the Florida Department of Education, where he focused on career and technical education. Mack has also been a professor, lecturer, and administrator at various universities in Florida. If confirmed, he will lead the Employment and Training Administration, overseeing programs like federal-state unemployment insurance and workforce development initiatives.
Nomination Status: On December 18, 2025, the U.S. Senate confirmed Henry Mack as the Assistant Secretary of Labor for the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) by a vote of 53–43. Mack’s nomination was considered by the Senate as part of a package of 97 nominations.
