Services Employee International Union votes to go on strike Jan. 1
December 21, 2023 // Members of the Services Employee International Union take care of places like the Nassau Coliseum, Roosevelt Field Mall and Nassau Community College. The union voted to authorize a strike on Saturday. Leaders say they are fighting for higher pay and better health care. They will go on strike Jan. 1.
