Sydney Stubbs Joins I4AW Leadership Team as Vice President of Government Relations
Stubbs’ Addition Elevates I4AW’s Pro-Worker Message with Capitol Hill and Coalition Audiences
HAMILTON, VA — As Institute for the American Worker (I4AW) continues to champion policies that empower workers and their families, we are excited to announce the addition of Sydney Stubbs as the organization’s new Vice President of Government Relations. This new role enables I4AW to grow and expand its presence as the leading voice for pro-worker policies with decision-makers in Washington and beyond.
Stubbs will build on I4AW’s reputation as the central hub for federal labor policy debates facing our country, bringing her background across the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives, the White House and the broader advocacy sector to represent I4AW’s message with congressional offices, committees, and national coalition partners. She comes to I4AW most recently from Advancing American Freedom where she served as Vice President of Communications and as Senior Policy Advisor.
Stubbs’ work in the economic policy space spans roles serving as Communications Director for Americans for Prosperity and leading communications for the Joint Economic Committee under Ranking Member Mike Lee, as well as in the U.S. House of Representatives. She previously served at the White House as Deputy Director and Correspondent to Vice President Mike Pence.
“We are thrilled to welcome Sydney to I4AW’s leadership team. She will be a tremendous asset in communicating the pro-worker message to Congress, the administration, and across the country. This role will be invaluable to I4AW’s mission to further policies that help American workers and their families to thrive,” said F. Vincent Vernuccio, President of I4AW.
In addition to representing and elevating I4AW’s pro-worker message, Stubbs will be shepherding the launch of I4AW’s new Future of Work Fellowship, a talent pipeline and professional development program designed to cultivate the next generation of labor policy leaders.
