Moore said the company is also trying to eliminate jobs by eliminating helpers who assist drivers on delivery routes and are paid by commission. The rule changes would turn the position into an hourly one and eliminate the 40-hour guarantee at the same time. Johnson said the company is using management, sales staff and mechanics to run the product delivery routes right now. “She [Johnson] paid for them to get their Commercial Driver’s License, so that’s who’s pretty much driving right now,” Moore said.
