Fenway Park concessions workers warn of another possible strike
August 7, 2025 // As negotiations continue for a new collective bargaining agreement, the union said its key demands are citywide-standard wages, guardrails on automation, increased gratuity for premium workers who serve season ticket holders and special guests, and fair scheduling that respects workers' seniority. According to Local 26, Fenway concessions employees earn under $20 an hour, a wage that the union says is $10 less than Boston's standard for similar jobs.
Boston police say Aramark temp worker arrested after incident involving picketers at Fenway Park
July 29, 2025 // While officers were on scene, police say the victim then ran around officers and back in the crowd, at which time she allegedly spit on two Aramark picketers. This was observed by officers, according to police. That woman was placed under arrest. Her name has not been released and it's unclear what charges she is facing. "Like five officers tackled her," Hahn said.

Fenway, MGM concession workers vote to authorize strike
June 17, 2025 // "Boston is a union town, and it's time to bring all Fenway workers' wages up to standard," said Carlos Aramayo, president of UNITE HERE Local 26, which represents the Fenway workers. "Local 26 hotel workers fought for, and won, $10-an-hour raises last year, and Local 26 university dining workers will be making a minimum of $30 an hour by 2028. September 25, 2024 // UNITE HERE Philly Local 274, the union that represents the city’s food service workers, announced Sunday night that cooks, servers, bartenders, dishwashers, concession workers, cleaners and retail workers employed by Aramark would take part in the strike outside Citizens Bank Park, the Wells Fargo Center and Lincoln Financial Field on Monday, Sept. 23, 2024. Aramark, which is headquartered in Philadelphia, provides food and beverage services at all three stadiums. More than a thousand workers took to the picket lines early Monday morning and continued throughout the day.

Teamsters across Iowa reach three-year agreement with Aramark over working standards
