    BACKGROUNDER: Senator Hawley’s PRO Act Lite

    March 14, 2025 // Senator Josh Hawley’s proposed “framework” for reforming America’s private-sector labor law is, in reality, a repackaged and slimmed down version of the radical left’s Protecting the Right to Organize (“PRO”) Act and Warehouse Worker Protection Act (“WWPA”). Instead of proposing meaningful reforms to protect the American Worker—by leveling the playing field between unions and business—it does the opposite at every turn. This “Pro Act Lite” may be a slimmed down version of Big Labor’s original, but it still packs the same harmful consequences.

    Austin Worker Files Federal Constitutional Challenge Against Biden-Harris Labor Board

    November 4, 2024 // Dallas Mudd, an employee of Aunt Bertha (d/b/a FindHelp), has launched a federal lawsuit against the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) on the grounds that the agency’s structure violates the U.S. Constitution. National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation staff attorneys representing Mudd filed the suit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. The lawsuit joins a string of cases challenging the NLRB’s structure on separation of powers principles.

    ‘Hypocritical’: environmental groups blocking union efforts, US workers say

A wave of unionization efforts has swept the non-profit sector as part of a renewed national enthusiasm for unionization. Shortly into the Covid-19 pandemic, workers at 350.org, Sunrise Movement, the National Audubon Society, Defenders of Wildlife, Greenpeace USA, the Public Interest Network and the Center for Biological Diversity unionized.
