The NLRB – supposedly the impartial referee of representation elections – put its thumb on the scale just one week before the JFK8 vote commenced.

IBOTU officials have repeatedly been accused of misconduct. local 713 Scalza later pleaded guilty to extortion conspiracy charges, served six months house arrest and was temporarily barred from union activity, the New York Daily News reported in 2014.
