September 11, 2025 // Labor leaders reached a tentative agreement with Boeing that could resolve a strike in the aviation giant's defense business, the union announced Wednesday. Some 3,200 workers in Missouri and Illinois are set to vote Friday on a preliminary agreement that includes wage increases, said a press release from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union.

July 29, 2025 // Union members who assemble Boeing's (BA.N), opens new tab fighter jets in the St. Louis area have "overwhelmingly voted" to reject the company's contract offer on Sunday, with the company now preparing for an imminent strike. Boeing's proposal, which was sent on Tuesday to more than 3,200 members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) District 837, included a 20% general wage increase over four years and a $5,000 ratification bonus, as well as more vacation time and sick leave.
Cummins workers in Oshkosh remain on strike after rejecting latest labor package via union vote
June 4, 2025 // Cummins workers in Oshkosh rejected the latest contract offer, extending their strike to more than three months. The main points of contention include the expired contract, temporary worker language and mandatory Saturdays. Negotiations between Cummins and UAW Local 291 are scheduled to resume at the end of June. The Oshkosh plant employs 129 workers, a small fraction of Cummins' global workforce of approximately 75,500.
‘We deserve more’: USPS union members vote to reject contract agreement

When juxtaposed with the university's $1.85 billion endowment and the recent rise in total enrollment costs to $88,000 per year per student, union members felt it was an unfair proposal.
Disneyland workers reach tentative deal with company, averting strike
July 25, 2024 // The bargaining committee previously accused Disney of having "engaged in multiple instances of conduct we allege are unfair labor practices, including unlawful discipline and intimidation and surveillance of union members exercising their right to wear union buttons at work." The union buttons in question depict a Mickey Mouse-style white glove raised in a fist. (The company has insisted that costumes worn by cast members are "a critical part of enhancing the experience of our Disney show.")
Minneapolis park workers strike prompts war of words and some cancellations

A spokesperson for the board shared information that was sent out to employees Monday afternoon. It said “The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board was made aware that striking Local 363 employees plan to return to work on Thursday, July 11. The MPRB will welcome all striking employees back on Thursday. No employee who went on strike will be turned away.”
CSU faculty union approves contract with university that would raise salaries
