April 6, 2022 // The Vollrath Company Monday morning says Sheboygan United Auto Workers Local 1472 plans to invoke it’s right to a work stoppage starting today. This comes after Vollrath Company and the Union have been unsuccessful in reaching an agreement on a labor contract that expired last Friday. In a statement emailed to WHBL News Monday morning, the company says they remain willing and open to negotiating a fair and equitable contract that provides the basis for long-term employment for it’s valued union workers as well as a viable future for the company.
